Jacob³ Kip (Isaac², Hendrick¹) with his brother Hendrick³, were the original owners (1686) of the tract known as Kipsbergen, now Rhinebeck, New York. It adjoined a tract purchased by Gerrit Artsen (Van Wagenen), Arie Rosa, and Jan Elton (Elting).
